First, double check the entry of your login and password.  The login is the beginning of your SHU e-mail (up to the "@" symbol), usually your last name followed by your first initial:  "smithj".  The password which you select must meet the security criteria of the system (upper case, lower case, alpha, numeric, symbols, and length); if it doesn't the setup pages will tell you.

You are already set up with library privileges; however, only you have access to reset your password.  I've attached a short slide set showing you the screens for this process.    There may be have been a delay in getting your information into the colleges IT system, so if neither of these options works, call the Factory Help Desk (203-365-7575 or toll free at 866-365-7575).  Unfortunately, that department isn't open on the weekend. 

The library is open today until 5 p.m.; fall semester hours begin on Monday   If you can come to the library, you'll be able to sign on to the databases here.  Speak to a librarian in person or via telephone (203-371-7726) if problems persist.

In the interim, you may be able to access some relevant databases available using your public library card that may help you get started.  New Jersey public library card holders have access through "Jersey Clicks" which includes Academic Search Premier and Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition

Google Scholar (http://scholar.google.com) is a great source, too, and sometimes provides links to full-text, though not always.
