You're off to a great start by creating your RefWorks account at the beginning of your research project! Our library director, Gavin Ferriby, has created a LibGuide with the account and login instructions, plus information on ways to use RefWorks to collect, organize, and polish your citations for bibliographies and in-text references. The link is below.
This is a subscription service which is available to Sacred Heart University students and faculty. It is feature-rich, covering dozens of citation styles (including the ever-popular APA, MLA, and Chicago styles). Once you've created your account, you'll be able to export citation information from library databases and resources. You'll also be able to access your account via the Internet from any computer. You can keep separate folders of citations for different projects.
After you've set up your account and reviewed the LibGuide, ask a reference librarian for additional help with RefWorks. Allow yourself enough time to get familiar with the program, and you will find that the (sometimes) dreaded work of documenting your sources will be substantially easier.
