The NetAdvantage database provides information from Standard & Poor's on companies and industries. Look for it under "Business" on the Databases by Subject page. To search for a company use either the stock ticker symbol or the company's name. If you're not sure of the spelling of a company name, enter the first few letters of the company name, then pick the right one from the results list. For example, "Walmart" is actually spelled with a hyphen, "Wal-Mart". By using just "wal" as your search, you'll quickly spot the correct spelling.
