If you find a textbook in our circulating collection, it may be borrowed the same as other circulating books. Occasionally, faculty place a textbook on reserve for their class, in which case it may be used in the library as other reserve materials. Generally, textbooks usually must be purchased (or rented) by each user because of the large number of editions of textbooks and high cost of purchasing enough copies to satisfy all students in a particular course, We try to focus our purchases on research materials for independent research and learning beyond the direct classroom teaching.
