Do I need to use VPN to access library resources from home?
No. You usually do not need VPN to access library databases, journals, ebooks, or other online resources from home or off campus. When prompted, log in with your SHU username and password.
VPN is optional and is generally only needed for certain university systems, not for most library resources. It may sometimes help if there is a temporary EZproxy access issue, but if you are having trouble accessing a library resource, we recommend either contacting the library first or resetting your password.
