• When logging in to SHU Library resources, enter only your SHU username. Do not enter your full SHU email address. 

For example, use smithj3 instead of smithj3@mail.sacredheart.edu. 

• If your SHU username or password still does not work, reset your password through mySHU and select the Reset Password or Unlock Account link.  

• After you reset your password, wait at least 20 minutes before trying to log in to library databases, journals, ebooks, or other online library resources. This gives your account time to update and helps prevent your access from being temporarily blocked.
