What happens if I return a book late?
If a book is overdue, fines usually start at $0.25 per day and continue until the item is returned. If a book becomes very overdue, it may be marked “lost,” and replacement and processing charges may be added to your account. Unpaid charges can be sent to the Bursar’s Office, and your borrowing privileges may be put on hold until everything is resolved.
