Protocols for the treatment of cardiac disease are discussed in the library's print and electronic medical texts.  You can locate these by searching the catalog using the SUBJECTS "Heart disease" and "Heart disease treatment".  Review the indexes of the books (and search the full text of eBooks electronically) for the key terms pertaining to your question, particularly "ejection fraction".
