Yes, it is visible to the naked eye at night when its orbital path crosses your vicinity.  Transits near the horizon typically last only a few minutes, so you need to plan ahead.  To see when and where it will be visible in the Bridgeport, CT area over the next few weeks, use the NASA applet at https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/sightings/index.cfm​
