The Federalist Papers is available in the Library’s eBook collection (University ID required for remote access).  This ebrary eBooks can be searched using the “search document” feature available once the eBook has been opened.

The Library of Congress THOMAS site has The Federalist Papers in html format, which can be searching by pressing CTRL+F or CMD+F (find/search on page) on your keyboard.

The THOMAS site also has a link to the Project Gutenberg text of The Federalist Papers that you can use to search the entire text of The Federalist Papers.
