For Sacred Heart University Faculty and Students
SciFinder Scholar provides unlimited access to the world’s largest and most reliable collection of chemistry and related science information. You can search for substances, reactions, and patent and journal references.
All SHU Chemistry students must register directly with SciFinder Scholar to obtain access to the database.
- This site is unique to Sacred Heart and should not be shared with anyone outside the University.
- Follow the steps provided to set up your individual account.
- NOTE: You must use your Sacred Heart University email to receive information from SciFinder Scholar. This email identifies you as a valid student able to use the SHU Library-provided site.
Setup Your SciFinder Account
SciFinder Scholar can be accessed through the Library Homepage by choosing the “Databases” link and typing SCIFINDER in the search box or click Here. It is available on and off campus after you initially sign up on campus.
