WestLaw is a specialized subscription database available to Sacred Heart University users. From the library homepage, use the A-Z database list (box in upper right of homepage). Click on the "W", then scroll to the entry for WestLaw. If you are on campus, you will link through directly to the database. If you are off campus, you will need to enter your Sacred Heart username and password (same as you use for BlackBoard).
The WestLaw interface is quite different from the more common journal databases. There are many specialized connectors with which to refine your search string, and you will need to select one or more databases within WestLaw before you click the SEARCH button.
If you have a citation to a specific case or statute, there are tools to link directly to that item.
Our reference librarians will be glad to help you find the items you need.
