Yes, libraries have "interlibrary loan" systems to find books for their users at other libraries. Our ILL system is known as ILLiad. We are able to borrow books, journal articles, and DVDs for our users from libraries around the country. Depending on a number of factors, your item may arrive here in about 2 to 7 days.
First, to make a request, you must set up a personal ILLiad account. The specific details of the item you're requested can then be filled in online. You'll be able to follow the progress of your request by checking your account. You will be notified by e-mail when your item is available.
