Regular library hours and holiday schedules are listed at http://library.sacredheart.edu/calendar_hours. Current library hours are summarized in a sidebar on the library homepage (http://library.sacredheart.edu/). Library hours generally follow the academic calendar, with extended hours during exam periods and reduced hours during breaks between semesters and university holidays.
Occasionally, unplanned library closings are necessitated due to weather emergencies, power outages, etc. Library Director Gavin Ferriby posts messages in the "News & Events" column on the library homepage (http://library.sacredheart.edu/), sends e-mail notices to students, and posts Twitter messages about any such change in scheduled library hours. Watch for inclement weather emergency announcements from Campus Safety at about any such change in scheduled library hours (http://www.sacredheart.edu/officesservices/publicsafety/inclementweather/)
Remember than our electronic resources (eBooks, eJournals, and databases) are available via links on the library website even when the library is closed.
